The Thunder got their winning streak broken with a loss to the Rockets at Toyota Center on Christmas Day, and they’ll be looking to get back on track against the worst team in the Western Conference. Phoenix sports a 9-26 record, further adding fuel to the belief that it’ll be battling Cleveland all season for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 draft.
To its credit, Phoenix is getting healthy again, with only Jamal Crawford possible to miss Friday’s game. As for the Thunder, Alex Abrines could return, which figures to give the team some additional help defending on the wing. That could prove beneficial against the young Suns.
Oklahoma City has won all three meetings so far this season, and they’re looking to pull off the season sweep on Friday night.
