Preseason play isn’t a time when we see many reps for starting running backs and quarterbacks, as coaching staffs look to allow those guys to get into a rhythm, and that’s about it.
The NFL season is long, and it wears on players, which is why coaches attempt to keep guys healthy by minimizing the amount of hits they absorb.
That’s why the Rams chose to have stud running back Todd Gurley sit during Saturday’s preseason game against the Texans, rather than suit up to play. As such, Gurley had to find other ways to bide his time on the sideline. He appeared to do that by busting out Backpack Kid’s “Floss Dance,” along with teammate Sebastian Joseph-Day.
That’s one way to floss @TG3II 😅 (via @thecheckdown) https://t.co/QzShawBTHO
