On Monday night we saw a rare form of Tom Brady as he got choked up when asked about who his hero was. It now seems the real story is coming out slowly.
On Monday night Brady was asked about who his personal hero was to which he responded by saying “Who’s my hero? That’s a great question. Well, I think my dad is my hero. Because he’s someone I look up to every day. And, uh …[long pause well getting choked up] “My dad.”

On Tuesday he was asked a follow-up question about his parents to which he responded by saying “It’s been a challenging year for my family, just for some personal reasons. It’ll just be nice having everyone here watching us this weekend. That’s my mom and dad. They’ve been so supportive my entire life, it’s nice to be able to show them . . . to try to make them proud . . . My mom hasn’t been to a game this season. My dad has been to [only] one. It’s very atypical.”
At the time we thought that it was just a touchy subject but since then it has come out that Brady’s mom has been battling a serious illness a source told CSNNE’s, Tom E. Curran.
Curran also stated that a Brady family source told him on Tuesday that Brady’s mother, Galynn, has been dealing with health issues for the past 18 months. She’s been doing much better recently, but her illness has been a major source of concern for the family.
It also came out that Brady dropped his four-game Deflategate Suspension appeal because of his mother’s condition. How do you feel now Goodell? The whole Brady family is expected to be in Houston as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick try to win their fifth Super Bowl.
