The website www.FireCoachMeyer.com has generated lots of interest in the college football world and while it’s unlikely the Gators make a move due to this article, it does show that not all things are calm on with the Florida Gators.
Urban Meyer has the Gators out to a 3-3 start, something we haven’t seen for the constant BCS contender that Florida was in the early part of Urban Meyer’s tenure and during the Tim Tebow era.
Now, however, with the start of the website mentioned before (www.FireCoachMeyer.com), it shows how anxious Gators fans are about winning, and they make some points that are hard to refuse.
While none of the following programs are on the downslope to the point of changing their head coach, they site’s administrator references how Oklahoma, USC, and Florida State all declined after a short run at the top, and it shows that thanks to the loss of Tim Tebow and other key parts of the Florida playmakers, it could prove to be the down turn of Urban Meyer in his tenure of the Gators.
Note: I am NOT in agreement with the idea of Firing Urban Meyer, just simply pointing out the website’s presence and noting the points the site makes and how it has generated interest.
