Hawks’ journeyman forward Vince Carter has played for a number of NBA teams throughout his career, and he was honored by one of them before and during Wednesday’s game against the Nets at Barclays Center.
The 42-year-old Carter played for the Nets for five seasons, and he’s still well-respected by fans, apparently. He returned to Brooklyn for what could be the final time in his 23-year career, and the Nets played a tribute video to honor him. Not only that, fans showered him with praise, in the form of a standing ovation.

Tribute videos are all the rage these days. Carter got one from the Raptors on Tuesday, and the Nets on Wednesday. It’s good to be VC.
