Vince Wilfork made his retirement official today in the best way possible. By making a video saying he is “No more cleats. I’m moving on to smoked meats, fellas”.
Wilfork was drafted in 2004 by the Patriots where he played 11 seasons before going to the Texans for 2 seasons. In his time in New England Wilfork had two Super Bowls, made the Pro Bowl five times and posted 559 tackles, 16 sacks, 12 fumble recoveries, three interceptions and five forced fumbles.
Below is his awesome retirement announcement.
Well y’all – it’s been a great run, but the time has come. @Kingsford #Sponsored pic.twitter.com/DXfDzholBi
