Don Cherry was an integral part of a longstanding tradition over the weekend, and this time he didn’t have Ron MacLean to help him with it.
Cherry was at Wrigley Field on Saturday night for the Blue Jays-Cubs game, likely because Chicago was squaring off against Toronto, and he wanted to root for the visitor.
Whatever the reason, he was invited to sing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game,” and the host of “Coach’s Corner” gave one of the most straightforward, serious renditions you’ll ever hear, so check it out.

I personally prefer when drunk celebrities belt out the song, but Cherry’s effort was there.
