Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott added another two touchdowns to his 2016 total on Sunday, and the league’s leading rusher was clearly the difference in the 35-30 win.
It was the latter touchdown that was the kill shot, as the Steelers were clinging to a one-point lead, attempting to force the Cowboys into a long field-goal attempt.
Unfortunately, a moronic grabbing of Jason Witten’s face mask with under 20 seconds left put the Cowboys in field-goal range, which prompted the Steelers to call a run-blitz in an attempt to create a negative play.
The result of the play was negative — for them — and resulted in a 32-yard touchdown run for Elliott.
