Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside wasn’t happy about his team’s performance in Tuesday’s 105-90 loss to the Orlando Magic at America Airlines Arena, so he decided not to stick around on the court for the final whistle.
Teammate Justise Winslow was called for a foul on a layup by Jonathan Isaac with just over 40 seconds remaining in the game, sending the Magic forward to the line for a pair of free throws.
Whiteside was on the bench at the time, and he, for whatever reason, wasn’t interested in watching the game from that point on, so he just got up and walked to the locker room.

Hassan Whiteside left the Heat bench and walked to the locker room with 40.5 seconds remaining tonight. He was 6-6 in the first half, 0-1 in the second half, and a bad night got even more combustible.

The Heat have now lost six of their past nine games, and the losing skid appears to be taking a toll on the team’s players.
