LeBron James is still one of the most dominant basketball players on the planet, and he’s been known to play by his own rules from time to time.
James can get away with things that few others in the league — if any — can pull off, and what happened before Friday’s Clippers-Lakers game at Staples Center was no different.
LeBron is currently sidelined with a groin injury he suffered in the Lakers’ win over the Warriors on Christmas Day, so he was out of action for Friday’s game. That enabled him to sip on a bit of wine beforehand, which he did while walking into Staples Center, on his way to the locker room.

The best part about it all was how casual James was about it, as he walked with the glass of wine, followed by security.
