For all the Rams fans that need to beat that certain someone this Sunday and need some fantasy help, we will shed a light on the best matchups this weekend, disregarding Thursday’s matchup.

Quarterback

Dak Prescott

If you have not picked up Dak Prescott already then now is the best time to get him. He is a fantasy QB 1 going against a flailing browns defense. The cowboy offense has been a model of consistency. Dak showing love to all of the cowboy wideouts. A must start in week 9.

Case Keenum

Yes, it has been a love/hate for Rams fans, but this could turn out to be a shot worth taking. The panthers have fallen out, the run defense is really strong, so that opens up the passing game. The Panther secondary has fallen into shambles and there has not been a combination of backs to make it work.

Marcus Mariota

As of late the Titans quarterback has rose the ranks to a top fantasy QB. So far he’s had 20 or more points in the last four games! Within this 4 game run he’s only been intercepted once while throwing 10 touchdowns. San Diego is a much better defense but Mariota’s legs will allow him to do much better.

Philip Rivers

Consider Rivers a top-5 QB going into week 9. Since he’s going against a Tennessee defense that allows an average of 22 points to opposing quarterbacks. Rivers is due for a big game and it will definitely come against the Titans.

Honorable mentions: Eli Manning vs Eagles, and Trevor Siemian vs Raiders.

Do not

Tyrod Taylor

There is nothing wrong with Taylor. He is just going against he Seattle D. A major stop sign going into this Sunday, especially playing in Seahawk territory. Don’t get me wrong Taylor he is a top 10 QB. Sadly he’s going against one of the strongest defenses in the NFL.

Carson Wentz

Wentz has fallen off of the fantasy pack. Proving how it can be really struggling for a rookie QB in the NFL to stick with a rhythm. He has no upside on the road going to New York. The Giants have done really well against fantasy QB’s. Wentz should remain on the bench in most leagues.

Running Backs

Do’s

Charcandrick West

The most important thing is to make sure Spencer Ware is out for sure. West a has a great matchup against the Jaguars who’ve allowed double digits to opposing RB in the last 2 games. A definite fantasy power threat from the backfield.

Frank Gore

Gore should be starting in all leagues. Even on the road he is a beast, putting up an average of 12.3 Fantasy points in the last four road games. Even he does have a tough matchup with the Packer, we can bet that Gore would reach at least 10 points. He’s locked in as a solid RB2.

Carlos Hyde

Hyde is finally going to play this week against the Saints. Before the injury, Hyde was averaging at least 13 points per game. Plus it helps that the Saints have allowed nine running backs to score double digits in Fantasy points this year. If he can avoid any sort of setbacks he’s a RB1 in all leagues.

Honorable mentions: Terrance West, Darren Sproles, Antone Smith.

Do not!

Ryan Mathews

Clearly Sproles, has emerged as the better back. In his past 3 games Mathew’s combined for just 18 points. Against Dallas he saw 8 snaps. Luckily for him one of those 8 resulted in a touchdown. If the eagles decide to commit to Sproles than its over for Mathews.

Jerick McKinnon

After suffering from the ankle injury, we’re just hopeful McKinnon can play. The injury can prove to be a major setback. The Vikings are more likely to ease him back in. We see Asiata sharing the load and getting goal line work as well.

Wide receivers Do’s

Davante Adams

Adams has proven himself to be a viable threat for Rodgers. He’s scored in three of his past four home games. He’ll be a WR 1 if Cobb cannot return to Sundays game.

Rishard Mathews

It helps if that his QB is Marcus Mariota. Mathews has emerged as a solid wideout for the Titans. Mathews has scored 3 times out of 4 games. He will reach WR 2 status going against a San Diego Defense who rank 19th in yards allowed per game to wide receivers.

Jarvis Landry

Generally Landry is better in PPR leagues but Sunday he goes up against one of the worst secondary’s in the NFL. Plus, Landry has a great track record against the Jets last season with 13 catches for 165 yards and a touchdown.

Honorable mentions: Mohamed Sanu, Micheal Thomas, Quincy Enunwa

Do not

Cole Beasley

With Dez returning from his injury we’ll see the production of Beasley decrease. He could have big game and have a lot of looks from the slot. Sadly his chances are wearing thin.

Travis Benjamin

Benjamin has emerged as a fantasy stud so far. Sadly his injury has caused some major setbacks with his play. He did come off a solid performance against Denver in which he scored but be prepared to bench him if the Chargers aren’t ready for hi to return.

Jeremy Shepard

In the beginning of the season, Shepard showed high caliber talent for fantasy owners. Its not so much his fault with Odell Beckham finding his feet again but we hope he can reemerge as a WR2. Till then leave him on the waiver wire.

Tight-Ends

Do’s

Antonio Brown

Brown has remained the play maker he’s always been. It will come a lot easier again the Titans allowing a tight end to score in consecutive games. Brown will sit as a TE 2 at best.

Cameron Brate

Brate has not been an offensive juggernaut for Tampa Bay. He has shown he can be quite effective through the season for fantasy owners. Brate is averaging 10 Fantasy points in a standard leagues. Going against the Falcons they’ve allowed five touchdowns to tight ends and five to score at least eight Fantasy points in a standard league.

Do not

Zach Ertz

Ertz hasn’t really found rhythm throughout the season so far.In his past four games, Ertz has seven Fantasy points combined in a standard league. He is still looking for his first touchdown of the season. We are hopeful he will bounce back but don’t count on it.

Julius Thomas

Thomas has done little within the last two games. A matchup against the Chief in which has allowed just four touchdowns to tight ends going back to last season. Thomas will most likely shut down this week.

Let the fantasy god bless your lineup this Sunday.
