The NFL explored the idea of penalizing players for kneeling during the national anthem protests, and got roasted for it.
There’s no league policy in place that specifically states players must stand, so it’d be interesting to see how they would’ve enforced that.
It would’ve been an epic fail on many levels, as this cartoon clearly shows.
