“People talk about, ‘that’s the momentum’ and ‘this team won so they have (the momentum),” Horford said after the Game 4 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. “I think each game – it’s its own.
“I do think that we played much better than we did on Saturday. We’re gonna learn from this game and go back home and protect our home court.”

Al Horford believes #Celtics played well Monday and will learn from these last two games. Says he doesn’t see momentum shift.
While I do see Horford’s point that a series can change on a dime, the Celtics definitely did not play well the last two games. I suppose game 4 was better than game 3, but that’s a VERY low bar to clear. They are missing open looks, even open dunks and letting the Cavaliers getting second chance points off the boards. The Celtics won the first two games by doing, quite the opposite. The positive side for the Celtics is that this series is now a best two out of three with two games in Boston to play.
Boston is currently undefeated at home in the playoffs and to be frank, they look like a completely different ball club home versus away. The bright side for the Cavaliers is that even if they face elimination, LeBron James is the best player of all-time while facing elimination — with games on his resume like the 2012 East Finals in Boston down 3-2, James scored 45 points 15 rebounds and had 5 assists to bring the series back to Miami for a game 7 which the Heat won.
