2010 Stanley Cup Schedule
Let’s be complete honest here. That Flyers-Habs final had to be the worst match-up for Bruins fans to watch. One one hand, you had the century long hated rivals and all of our instinct and breeding says to not root for them. But on the other hand you had the goon-squad team that knocked out the Bruins in an epic fashion, plus they have the likes of Hartnell and Carcillo and who can root for them without feeling a bit dirty? So, Bruins fans found themselves stuck between a rock and a hardplace and many actually went against their nature and pulled for the Habs to win. Those fans are now currently taking acid baths to clean themselves of their sins. Choosing a side for the Cup is much easier. After the jump… we talk about the Cup. So who are Days of Y’Orr pulling for to win the Cup this year? Let’s take a look. We hate Carcillo. Just in case you didn’t know. Exhibit A. Exhibit B.
We hate Richards. Pierre McGuire has a hard-on for Richards though.
We also hate Hartnell, though he loves us.
We didn’t hear a peep from Flyers fans until after Game 6 against the Bruins. In general their fans are pretty fair weather and kinda suck. This one, on the other hand, we’ll give a pass too.
We do love Kane’s mullet.
And the fact that he hates price gouging by super rich taxi companies.
We also love the Jonathan Toews sideburns.
So yea. We think we’re rooting for the Blackhawks. We’ll cry if Carcillo gets his name etched on the cup. What a disgrace to Lord Stanley and hockey fans everywhere that would be.
