Game 13 Preview: Islanders @ Bruins
I’m not really used to being in a position where I can’t mock the Islander’s place in the standings, we’re tied with them for dead last.  The winner of this game will look slightly less abysmal in the standings.

Well, at least we never had the Gortons Fisherman as our logo.

Game 13 Preview: Islanders @ Bruins
The Bruins have to be riding high after slaughtering the Maple Leafs the other night, hopefully they can bring in some of that fire tonight.  I’m not quite ready to say that the Bruins have turned the corner, but the time has come that we can at least be cautiously optimistic…though we shouldn’t feel any better if we manage to beat the Islanders…that’s like being proud of beating a paraplegic in a foot race.

Tonight is the first game of a pretty big five game home-stand for the Bruins, they definitely have some work to do if they want to get out of this hole they’ve dug themselves in to, and all five games are against teams they should be able to beat.

Projected Roster:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Jordan Caron-Chris Kelly-Benoit Pouliot
Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Dennis Seidenberg-Joe Corvo
Andrew Ference-Adam McQuaid

Tuukka Rask
Tim Thomas
Peverley is out with an undisclosed injury, so Pouliot is in.  Not surprising to see Tuukka getting the start tonight, but it will be surprising for him to get support…we’re already approaching critical mass on the meltdown meter…
