Play On! Boston Bruins OYO Minifigs are Amazing

If you're a fan of Legos Minifigs, well, we have some news for you. OYO Sportstoys has a collection of hockey minifigs for the NHL's Original 6, which of course, includes the Boston Bruins. Rest of the NHL is due out later, according to the website.

Series Description:

The Boston Bruins are part of the Original Six teams of the NHL. They were founded in 1924 and are the oldest American based NHL team. This storied franchise has won a total of six Stanley Cups most recently in 2011 after a 39-year Stanley Cup drought. Physical and skilled, their fans warn, “Don’t poke the bear.”

OYOSports Boston Bruins Lego Minifigs -- Chara & Bergeron

Play On! Boston Bruins OYO Minifigs are Amazing

Players available for the Bruins: Jarome Iginla, Milan Lucic, Loui Eriksson, Shawn Thornton, Dougie Hamilton, Zdeno Chara, Patrice Bergeron, Dennis Seidenberg, David Krejci, Johnny Boychuk, Brad Marchand, and last but not least…. Ryan Spooner? Yep, rookie Spoons made the cut. Sorry Tuukka and every other vet on the team… but there's twice as many Bruins minifigs than there are of any other team OYOSports is currently doing (suck it, Montreal!).

If Chara's minifig isn't a full fig instead to show off the size-difference then, well, we'll be extremely put out.

So, we know these aren't technically Legos, but we still kinda want a Lego NHL Game now. Just imagine… if you check a guy hard enough they burst into several mini pieces.

For now we'll just have to live with this:

Somewhere Patrick Kaleta is stoked about this series.
