For nine seasons, Jon Lester was nothing but a class act for the Boston Red Sox. The pitcher continued his ways even after being shipped to the Oakland A’s on Thursday.
Sunday, Lester thanked Red Sox Nation with a full page ad in The Boston Globe.
Now, if the conspiracy theorists are right and Lester is coming back to BeanTown in the off season and this whole thing was just a ploy to get a big bat, taking out a full page ad is the perfect cover, right? Stay tuned.
