Report: Manny Ramirez Not Retiring

Tuesday, the Texas Rangers released Manny Ramirez.  But don't shed one tear, America, this might not be the end for the twelve-time All-Star.

According to Hector Cruz of ESPN Deportes, Ramirez will not retire and will, apparently, look to hook up with another big league team.  Sure, it's unlikely that he lands a job, but, hey…none of us thought the Rangers would take a chance on the 41-year-old outfielder.

Ramirez last played in the Majors in April 2011.  Since then, he's had a stint in the minors, playing for the Oakland A's Triple-A affiliate in 2012 and in Taiwan earlier this season.  Prior to his release, he was hitting just .259, with three home runs for the Round Rock Express.S

Stay tuned.
