Madden NFL 24 99 Club: Which Players Are Rated 99 Overall?

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson

Ahead of the release of Madden NFL 24 on August 15, EA Sports is announcing the players who have made the illustrious “99 Club.” 99 is the highest rating a player could have in the game. Which players made the list?

Below, we explore the players who made Madden NFL 24’s “99 Club.”

Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings – Wide Receiver

The first member of Madden NFL 24’s “99 Club” is Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

Arguably the best at his position, Jefferson is coming off a 2022 campaign where he caught a league-best 128 passes for 1,809 yards and eight touchdowns. Jefferson was named First-Team All-Pro and selected to represent the NFC in the Pro Bowl.

In three NFL seasons, Jefferson has accumulated 476 receptions for 4,825 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns.

Jefferson becomes the first Vikings receiver ever to be rated 99, surpassing Randy Moss’s 98 overall rating in previous editions of Madden.

Aaron Donald, Los Angeles Rams – Defensive Tackle

On Tuesday, Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald was announced as the second member of the Madden NFL 24’s “99 Club.” This marks Donald’s seventh appearance in the “99 Club.”

Donald, the most dominant defensive tackle in the NFL, is now the first player in Madden history to be named to the “99 Club” seven times, breaking the previous record of six he shared with Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning.

In nine seasons, Donald has put together a Hall of Fame resume. A three-time Defensive Player of the Year, the 32-year-old has seven First-Team All-Pro selections and nine trips to the Pro Bowl.

Donald played an integral role in securing a championship for the Rams in Super Bowl LVI.

Zack Martin, Dallas Cowboys – Offensive Guard

For the first time in his career, Dallas Cowboys offensive guard Zack Martin was named to Madden NFL 24’s “99 Club.”

Martin is the first guard to be ranked 99 overall Dallas’s Larry Allen in Madden 2003.

Regarded as the best offensive guard in the game, Martin is a six-time First-team All-Pro selection and an eight-time Pro Bowl choice.

Martin was selected to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.

Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs – Tight End

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is the next member to enter Madden NFL 24’s “99 Club.”

2023 marks Kelce’s fourth selection in the “99 Club,” the most for a tight end in the video game franchise’s history.

As the best receiving tight end in the NFL, Kelce is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses because of his size and strength. Kecle achieved the tight end “triple crown” in 2022, leading his position in receptions (110), receiving yards (1,338), and touchdowns (12). Kelce made First-Team All-Pro for the fourth time and the Pro Bowl for the eighth time.

A two-time Super Bowl champion, Kelce has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in each of his last seven seasons.

Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs – Quarterback

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the final member of Madden NFL 24’s “99 Club.”

This marks Mahomes’s third entry into the “99 Club,” tying Aaron Rodgers for the third-most appearances by a quarterback.

Last season, Mahomes led the league in passing yards (5,250), passing touchdowns (41), and passing yards per game (308.8). Mahomes’s magical season ended with a trio of accomplishments: MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Super Bowl MVP.

At only 27, Mahomes is one of the most accomplished quarterbacks the game has ever seen.

In five seasons as a starting quarterback, Mahomes is a two-time MVP, two-time Super Bowl champion, and two-time Super Bowl MVP.

The remaining members of the “99 Club” will be announced later this week.
