Whitner and Scott not practicing

With Donte Whitner and Bryan Scott not practicing, the Bills moved a rookie LB back to his college position. Nic Harris was a safety at Oklahoma, but was drafted in the 5th round by the Bills to be a LB. Harris hasn’t played much in the games at LB, but has had all sorts of penalty problems playing special teams both in preseason and the regular season. (WGR)

Mind of Joe
I know I’ve been hard on Whitner making plays, but the thought of George Wilson and rookie Nic Harris as my starting safeties make Matt Darby and Mark Kelso look like HOF material. Luckily, the Bills are playing against a Dolphins team who doesn’t exactly have a plethora of skill players. But this was the week the Bills needed the physical play of Whitner and Scott because the Dolphins love to run the football, and more then likely the Bills would play a safety in the box.
