Jason Bay is no longer feeling the love from Red Sox Nation:
The Mets’ Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie is populated by more Red Sox fans than Met fans today, and the Boston faithful in attendance took their first chance to boo ex-Red Sox left fielder Jason Bay for spurning them this winter.
Bay came up in the second inning to a mix of cheers and strong boos from a crowd that has heftily cheered every Boston player so far.
Isn’t playing for the Mets a bad enough punishment? Do you really need to boo the guy?
