MLB Network’s Live Games This Week

MLB Network has just a handful of games that are airing this week. Take a look at the press release:

Texas Rangers Take On Chicago White Sox On Thursday Night Baseball
As Part of MLB Network’s Game Schedule for June 2-5
Schedule features Boston Red Sox against AL West first-place Oakland Athletics on MLB Matinee and NL Central matchup between Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros on Saturday Night Baseball
Secaucus, N.J., June 1, 2010 – The Texas Rangers travel to U.S. Cellular Field to take on the Chicago White Sox on Thursday Night Baseball on June 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET, part of MLB Network’s live game schedule for June 2-5. Led by eight-time All-Star Vladimir Guerrero, who currently ranks second in the AL in RBI’s, the Rangers took two out of three games against the White Sox last month.  
Tomorrow, June 2, MLB Matinee features the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks at Dodger Stadium at 3:00 p.m. ET with Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully calling the game. The AL West first-place Oakland Athletics visit Fenway Park to face the Boston Red Sox, who went 18-11 in May, during MLB Matinee on Thursday, June 3 at 1:30 p.m. ET, which will be available on MLB Network in the Athletics’ home television territory. Saturday Night Baseball wraps up the week with an NL Central showdown between the Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros on June 5 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Select markets will see the NL West first-place San Diego Padres visit the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:00 p.m. ET.
MLB Tonight, MLB Network’s Emmy Award-winning signature nightly studio show with look-ins at live games, will air at 6:00 p.m. ET tonight and on June 2 and 4, as well as after MLB Matinee and Thursday Night Baseball on June 3. On Sunday, June 6, MLB Tonight will air at 5:00 p.m. ET, followed by Quick Pitch at 7:00 p.m. ET and Plays of the Week at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Game telecasts this week, including Thursday Night Baseball, will be carriage of local telecasts, including local announcers, and games will be blacked out in each team’s home television territory unless otherwise announced. Viewers in areas subject to blackouts will be provided with an alternate game telecast or other programming.
