Another Milestone for Wake

Tim Wakefield surpassed 3,000 innings pitched in his career during yesterday’s game against the Phillies.  He reached the milestone in the third inning of the game.  Unfortunately for Wake, the next inning did not go so well as he gave up four runs in a game where the offense could not solve Phillies starter Cole Hamels.

Pedroia was one of the few bright spots of the offense on Sunday getting three hits as he emerges from an injury related slump.  Daniel Nava, the pride of Red Sox Nation, continued to impress by going 2-4 in the game and driving in one of the Red Sox two runs.  Beltre drove in a run with a solo homer in the second.  Mike Lowell and Darnell McDonald each went 0-4 on the afternoon.
