AngelsWin.com, the most-visited Angels baseball fan site on the Internet, has teamed up with Los Angeles Angels television announcer Victor Rojas to benefit the Miracle League of Orange County.
AngelsWin.com is selling t-shirts featuring the play-by-play man’s popular “Oppo Taco” home run call and donating the proceeds to Miracle League of Orange County, a baseball league that pairs special needs children with able-bodied helpers so that every child can experience the joy of playing America’s pastime.
Miracle League of Orange County received a huge lift from the Angels Baseball Foundation earlier this month with the opening of the first Miracle Field in Southern California as part of the Foundation-funded All-Star Complex at Anaheim’s Pioneer Park. The field features a completely level rubberized surface that accommodates wheelchairs and walkers and helps minimize the risk of injury.
Rojas joined the Angels broadcast team prior to the 2010 season and has gained national exposure for his trademark “Oppo Taco” and “Jimmy Jack” home run calls.
