I hope it’s a decent game, that the Colts show the fight we’ve come to expect — even in that Texans’ loss, you kept thinking the offense could score more and come back, and it likely would have were it not for two turnovers.
Yeah, it’s only one game. But on Sunday, it’s the one game that matters the most to so many people. They will make a big deal out of it. They will analyze the ramifications. Let’s hope there’s enough positives from the experience, win or lose, that fans will have reason to be optimistic about a late-season run.
If not, the skeptics will be saying, “Well, even Bill Polian knew the Colts were going to lose.”
