(A $420,000 broken nose for Cung Le).

Would you let Wanderlei Silva break your nose for $420,000?  Cung Le would (well he didn’t exactly LET Silva break his nose, it just sorta happened).  Despite losing to The Axe Murderer in the co-main event at UFC 139, Le was the event’s top earner.  As for headliner Dan Henderson, his $320,000 payday on Saturday pushed him to second spot in our 2011 Fighter Salaries: Top 10 Earners list.   Here are the official fighter purses for the event, straight from the California Athletic Commission.

Cung Le: $420,000 ($350,000 to show, $70,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Dan Henderson: $320,000 ($250,000 to show, $70,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Wanderlei Silva: $270,000 ($200,000 to show, $70,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Mauricio Rua: $235,000 ($165,000 to show, $70,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Urijah Faber: $134,000 ($32,000 to show, $32,000 win bonus, $70,000 Submission of the Night bonus)

Michael McDonald: $84,000 ($7,000 to show, $7,000 win bonus, $70,000 Knockout of the Night bonus)

Stephan Bonnar: $68,000 ($34,000 to show, $34,000 win bonus)

Miguel Torres: $60,400 ($30,000 to show, $30,000 win bonus, $400 for opponent missing weight)

Martin Kampmann: $58,000 ($29,000 to show, $29,000 win bonus)

Gleison Tibau: $54,000 ($27,000 to show, $27,000 win bonus)

Ryan Bader: $48,000 ($24,000 to show, $24,000 win bonus)

Danny Castillo: $34,800 ($17,000 to show, $17,000 win bonus, $800 for opponent missing weight)
