Redshirt freshman Dan Voltz left Wednesday's practice with an apparent hamstring injury. UW offensive line coach T.J. Woods told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Jeff Portykus that the injury was likely just a "tweak." Voltz, who was projected to be the starting center this season will undergo additional evaluation. Redshirt junior Dallas Lewallen took over at center with Voltz unavailable.

The UW athletic department issued a report about season ticket sales for several sports early Wednesday. The rate of renewal for general public football season tickets was at 95 percent, down from 97.5 percent a year ago. This marks the second straight year that the rate of renewals has dropped.
