Former Colts punter Pat McAfee joining World Wrestling Entertainment

It’s been a few years since ex-Colts punter Pat McAfee was in the NFL, but he remains in great physical shape, and he’ll now be joining the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment).

McAfee and the WWE agreed to a multi-year contract, which he announced on his popular show/podcast of sorts. The former NFL’er shared the news on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday,

“WWE has formally offered me a multi-year contract,” McAfee said. “Who knows what we’re going to be doing over there, they just want me to come make some content, and we’ll see where it goes.”

He continued:

“I am very excited for this…This is a dream come true.”

McAfee does have a bit of relevant experience, as he’s done some pre-show stuff for NXT TakeOver events in the past.
