Saquon Barkley breaks rookie receiving record on this play (Video)

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants

Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley has proved his doubters wrong time and time again this season, after the team was criticized for selecting him with the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, rather than a quarterback such as Sam Darnold or Josh Allen — who the two other New York teams rolled with.

Barkley makes good things happen every time he touches the ball, no matter the situation. He finished his rookie campaign with 1,307 yards on 261 carries, which amounts to an extremely impressive 5.0 yards per carry. He also rushed for 11 touchdowns.

But, most importantly, Barkley hauled in 91 receptions on the year. His 89th came against the Cowboys in Sunday’s game, and it set a record for most catches by a rookie running back. Watch him set the record on this play.
