Classic Colts are brought to you by Blue Blood
Tom Moore
Offensive Coordinator 1998-2008, Senior Offensive Assistant 2010-Present
For nearly half a century, Tom Moore has been working the sidelines and booths of football fields around the United States. By the time he arrived in Indianapolis, he had already spent decades in coaching. He joined the Colts staff in 1998 and took on the enviable task of helping to mold a young Peyton Manning. After Mora was fired, Tony Dungy kept Moore as Offensive Coordinator.
Under Moore’s guidance, the Colts offense had unprecedented success thanks in part to his excellent preparation and the freedom he gave his quarterback. Perhaps the best testament to Moore was the frustration shown by Manning during Moore’s brief ‘retirement’ before the 2009 season.33 Manning’s public comments let everyone know just how important Moore was to him. Despite his humble nature, Tom Moore is one of the giants in Indianapolis Colts’ history.
