ORACLE ARENA, OAKLAND, CA — This is a continuation of the halftime recap of the Washington Wizards at the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors used a 12-0 run to take a 49-46 lead at the half.

3rd Quarter – Late Buckets By Draymond And Sdot Push Lead

Markieff Morris and Draymond Green traded three-pointers to start the second half, but Klay Thompson hit a runner on Morris, Morris committed a turnover on a bad pass to Andrew Bogut, and Thompson ended that sequence with a triple.

Morris got a dunk then later a three, but Harrison Barnes got a left elbow jumper to drop and Green threw the ball off the backboard for a dunk by Bogut:

However, Bradley Beal went backdoor on Klay and Warriors head coach Steve Kerr called timeout to stop the momentum as the Wizards cut the Golden State lead to 61-58 with 6:45 remaining.

Both teams threw counterpunches out of the timeout. Barnes hit another jumper, Draymond got a three, but Garrett Temple and Morris hit triples assisted by John Wall.

With 2:07 to play, Leandro Barbosa made a cut and got a layup dished by Green, to put the Warriors up, 74-70.

Curry and Green would commit Golden State’s 12th and 13th turnovers, but the Wizards couldn’t capitalize and, after backup point guard Ramon Sessions missed a floater, Shaun Livingston took the rebound all the way down to the Warriors’ left baseline and popped a jumper over the unsuspecting Nene Hilario.

On the other end, Nene traveled and Draymond hit a confident triple with 6.8 seconds left, Curry’s 6th assist.

That put the Warriors up, 79-72, heading into the final frame.

4th Quarter – Team Effort

To start the fourth quarter, Barbosa found Shaun Livingston cutting who then finished with the slam dunk. Nene and Barbosa missed shots then Mo Speights moved laterally on defense to take the charge, which resulted in a offensive foul for Beal.

Barbosa then got the step on his defender and finished in the paint off of the feed from Speights. Beal missed a shot and then Livingston committed the turnover from an offensive foul. Speights then blocked a shot which led to Leandro Barbosa drawing the shooting foul on Temple – Leandro made both free throws.

The score was 85-72 with 10:20 left in the game with Washington looking for a bucket. Beal got a good look at a three but it wouldn’t drop. Mo Speights looked to be in a good position to putback a Warriors missed shot but offensive interference was called and then on the next possession Speights committed the shooting foul on Nene who split the free throws.

Curry was caught on the bench imitating someone, possibly himself?

Draymond Green found Curry for a lay-up which gave him his 9th assist of the night, one shy of a triple-double. Oubre Jr. then got a and-one to go with Green once again committing the foul on the reverse layup. McAdoo missed a shot then Hickson drove and dunked it home. Kerr called a timeout with 3:01 to go and the lead at 13.

James Michael McAdoo split a pair of free throws but then after giving up the offensive rebound, he came from behind and blocked Hickson’s jump shot from 3 feet. Curry picked up a foul and then checked out of the ball game.

Thompson missed a corner three, which would’ve given Draymond a triple double then Barbosa missed another shot. Klay fouled Hickson who got the shot to drop but he didn’t convert the and-one. Clark missed a shot, Hickson got a dunk, Klay missed a shot then Draymond blocked a shot but Oubre dunked it home and drew the foul.
