BOS 6, FLA 1: Penny continues to strive through trade talks

Brad Penny earned his 100th win of his career and Fenway Park was sold out for the 500th consecutive time. There was a lot to cheer about last night.
Penny pitched five innings allowing one run (unearned) yielding three hits, four walks and three strikeouts. For the 500th consecutive sell out, fans were given coupons for free hot dogs.
Nothing could go wrong at the “Fens” last night.
After falling behind 1-0 in the first innings, Boston scored six unanswered runs including a Jacoby Ellsbury solo home run in the seventh inning.

Considering how many eyes are watching Penny the righthander continues to excel not allowing an earned run over 11 innings pitched.
