Last Night: Yankees 8, Twins 4 – So that’s the end of the season. The rotation stalwarts of Ervin Santana and Jose Berrios were the two the struggled the most, as the Twins jumped out to an early lead thanks to home runs from Brian Dozier and Eddie Rosario. Byron Buxton hurt himself making a very good catch in center, but it was the starting pitching that held the bag in this one. It was a good reflection of the season.
GO MN: Watch: Yankees catcher somehow survives foul tip to his man parts – At least the Twins didn’t suffer the only indignities last night.
The Daily Target will sneak back into your lives whenever the Twins have a roster move this offseason, but will otherwise be enjoying the offseason. The Twins will be back better and stronger next year.
