According to PWInsider Elite Audio, via CagesideseatsTye Dillinger, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Matt Hardy and Erick Rowan have been cleared by WWE doctors to return to the ring, meaning all five men could be potential Royal Rumble match entrants.

It should be stressed that none of the five stars have been confirmed as surprise entrants in the match, but they are clear to return should WWE want them to participate in the bout.

Most recently, Matt Hardy put an end to speculation that he is retired from in-ring competition, when he Tweeted, “no, I am not retired & not going to be retiring anytime soon. I’ve worked my ass off to rehabilitate & have physically been greenlit. My body is in the best shape it’s been in in years & I’m the lightest I’ve been in 20 years.”

Matt Hardy’s ex-tag team partner Bray Wyatt has been cleared to return to the ring for quite sometime now, and has been waiting for WWE to come up with creative to bring him back to television.

The Royal Rumble match always provides several surprises in the form of returning WWE stars and legends, so it will be very interesting to see who rounds out the 30 men competing this Sunday for a chance to headline WrestleMania.
