When it was announced that Manny Ramirez was returning to baseball as a player-coach for the Iowa Cubs, you knew exactly what was going to happen next…every time the embattled slugger did anything of note, you’d hear about it from everyone.
This is one of those times.
On Wednesday the 42-year-old took part in some extended Spring Training for the Chicago Cubs Triple-A affiliate in Tempe, and what did he do? According to multiple reports, Ramirez marked the occasion by crushing a 450-foot home run and delivering an epic bat flip.
Way to show up a dude who is probably half your age, Manny!
