This week's "Fan Friday" focuses on one of the TD Garden's famous "Superfans". Russell, from Woburn, Ma. aka "The Guy with the Green Hair". Russell has been cheering-on the Boston Celtics from the balcony of TD Garden for as long as I can remember. He is a staple of the Garden's Jumbotron, as seen above, and a definite crowd-favorite. He also has his own blog called Guy With Green Hair.com.

Russell's the type of Celtics fan that is a dying-breed: he's there for most every home game-no matter what. He stays until the final buzzer, and he is loud & proud. Russ has no problem making some noise when the C's really need a boost and the fans' morale gets down. You can always count-on Russ to get people up out of their seats. I mean, how can you not like this guy? He dyes his mullett and his goatee Celtic green for every game!
So next time you're at the Garden, say what's up to Russ if you see him. During this last few weeks of finger-pointing, name-calling and bandwagon-jumping, it's great to know that diehard fans like him are still around. They are the type that live & die with this team-through good, bad and ugly. Thanks for reading everyone and GO CELTICS!
