The Sacramento Kings continue to put the final touches on their 2015-16 roster.  According to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports, the Kings have re-signed big man Eric Moreland after waiving him July 29 before his contract became guaranteed.

Moreland, 23, showed enough during Summer League last season to earn a contract for the 2014-15 season, but a shoulder injury derailed his season early.  Moreland made just three appearances with the Kings, earning just two minutes of action.  He also made seven appearances with the Reno Bighorns of the D-League, averaging 13.7 points, 12.7 rebounds. 1.6 blocks and 1.3 steals in 28.7 minutes per game.

Moreland will compete with Duje Dukan, David Stockton and a handful of camp invitees for one of the few remaining spots on the Kings roster.  His skill set mirrors that of rookie Willie Cauley-Stein, but Sacramento has invested time in the former Oregon State big man, which may help him land a spot with either the big club or the Reno Bighorns.
