Saints Nation Guru Week 10 vs 49ers

.

How right was I taking the running game as my main questions topic!? What a game. I think it might be 10 years before we see a running game like this. The tie-breaker again had Eliza18s as the one with the highest answer and even she was 48! yards removed from the exact answer. The Saints had 248 yards of running, and it would have been a round 250 were it not for the 2 kneeldowns Brees did at the end. The only thing that I regret is that not Hightower too had 100 yards running. That would have hurt the 49ers even more. I do not mind sticking it to them, not since 2011.

The Saints have a strong point in the game and they have something that sucks, usually the defense. But they know that they as a team are a team to be reckoned with. Where I had a feeling after the first 4 games they could lose to any team I now think they can win from any team. I see reasonable chances versus Denver. I have a good feeling about this one. Not that they win, but that they at least have a chance. And the Saints know this as well. Together they are strong. This year every pre season chant Drew Brees ends it with: “We will have each others back. Cause the strength of the pack is the Saint and the strength of the Saint is the Pack”. For you with small children you will know that Brees has small children too because this is straight from the Jungle book where Mowgli is raised by wolves.

I found this out by using the new Saints desktop app which I recommend. It has tons of interviews, Saints in the community and reports. See the link below to install it.

On to the results from last game. Damned I feel foolish! I answered question 1 and 2 with Robinson & 11. Then to explain question 2 (which was not clear to all, for which I apologize) I gave an example; Vaccaro & 9. and THAT was the correct answer. Ugh. I would be Guru this week but alas. By the way, Vaccaro had all those tackles solo! Quite impressive. The other answers; Mark Ingram lead the Saints in rushing and hell yes it was more then 100 yards. The total rushing was 248 yards but the tie-breaker was never needed.
There was 1 person with 3 correct answers and that was mateusjf! Congratulations, although with only predicting 110 yards running I wonder if it is justified 😉
The Falcons cup this time goes to CharlieB721 who had 0 correct. I feel bad since he corrected his answer after he understood the question and then still has 0 correct. I will do a better job of asking clear questions this time.

This weeks questions; Something strong with a weak cog, something weak with a strong leader and of course Mowgli himself!

  1. Something strong – The offense
How many touchdowns does the offense score?
  2. A weak cog – Cadet
Will Cadet drop a pass again this week?
  3. Something weak – The Defense
How many Touchdowns will the Defense allow?
  4. A strong leader – Vaccaro
Will Vaccaro be part of a trunover? (Either: Tip a ball that leads to an INT, get an INT, force a Fumble, recover a Fumble)?
  5. Mowgli himself – Drew Brees:
Tie-Breaker: How many passing yards will Drew Brees have?
