The University of Cincinnati announced the game time for the grand reopening of Nippert Stadium earlier today. Per a release from the school, the game will kick off at 7 pm on September 5. Night games at Nippert always have a different atmosphere, this game should be no exception. It’s very exciting that the grand reopening will not be a nooner or even a 3:30 start. Whatever festivities UC has planned can last all day before culminating with a blowout victory over Alabama A&M.
UC also announced the game against the Miami Hurricanes, the ESPN Thursday night game, will kickoff at 7:30. That’s not really interesting because most, if not all, of those games kickoff at 7:30. That will also be a fun night. Hopefully that will be a UC blowout as well. A positive UC blowout, unlike last year.
Game times coming out means we are getting a little closer to the start of the season. It’s only mid-May now, but we can make it through the darkness.
