Do you love Florida Panthers hockey? Do you love writing? Are you capable of communicating at a third grade level? Then The Sunshine Skate wants you!
We are looking for passionate Panther fans who want to share their passion with the fanbase. This goes double for fans that really like to think about their hockey, research their points thoroughly, and create thoughtful pieces on the team. Something eating at you about how the Panthers are playing? Is there a player that electrifies you? Have you noticed something that you just can’t hold in anymore? Then write about it, and submit it to us!
We cannot guarantee that all submissions will be posted, but we will review each one and give you feedback at a minimum. If we do post your piece, here’s what will happen:
- We will feature your piece prominently on the blog
- We will promote your piece on all our social media platforms
- You will be named Lord Protector of Florida *
- We may consider you for future, permanent openings on the blog (No promises though)
* This a fictional title and earns you no special privileges or powers, but it sounds very official
On that last point, we are not currently filling any permanent positions at this time, though we may at some point in the near future. Publishing of a piece is not a promise we will take you on permanently. However, being familiar with you is a big plus, so send those pieces in, we want to get to know you!
And most of all, have fun writing. We’re grown adults talking about grown adults playing a child’s game. There’s no reason this should not be fun.
