Tampa Bay Buccaneers Division Odds

The NFC South has been one of the weaker divisions in the NFL for the last couple of years. Even though Brady has been in the league for over two decades, he’s been getting better as time goes on.

According to the best US sports betting sites, the Bucs have -290 odds to win the NFC South Division. While the Bucs have one of the tough opponents on their schedule, it’s never wise to count out Tom Brady. The seven Super Bowl winner has been surrounded with immense talent since coming to Tampa and will have more offensive weapons to play with again this year.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Team Wins

The best sports betting apps have projected the Buccaneers win total at 11.5 wins.

Despite a grueling schedule, Tampa Bay is expected to be among the top contenders in the NFC this year.

The Bucs will open the regular season schedule with games versus Green Bay, Kansas City and Dallas within the first four weeks.

Brady’s presence in Tampa Bay has turned the Bucs into a winning team.

In 2020, Brady improved on the Bucs’ 7-9 record from the previous year to finish the season with an 11-5 record and an eventual Super Bowl title.

In 2021, the Bucs continued to improve under Brady and finished with a 13-4 regular season record. While the Bucs made it to the NFC Playoffs as the No. 1 seed, they lost in the divisional round to the eventual Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams.

With the defensive mind of Todd Bowles now serving as head coach, Brady and the Bucs are projected for 11.5 wins this season.

However, at -140 odds, the top online sportsbooks are favoring the under, meaning they are actually projecting the Bucs to win 11 games or fewer in 2022.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction

Despite a tough early season schedule, the NFC South should be a fairly weak division in 2022, which should play in the Bucs’ favor.

The NFC South is in full reconstruction mode this year, giving the Bucs quite a few opportunities to nab some easy wins against the Panthers, Falcons and the Saints. In a soft NFC South, the Bucs are clear favorites to win the division at -290 odds..

With Brady coming out of retirement, the Bucs projected win total shifted from 6-11 to an 11-6. Brady is also one of the front runners for NFL MVP with +1000 odds heading into the 2022 season.

Despite losing Antonio Brown and longtime teammate Rob Gronkowski from last season’s roster, the addition of perennial Pro Bowler Julio Jones gives Brady enough dangerous weapons to give opposing defenses headaches in 2022.

While the Bucs defense is one injury away from their secondary falling apart, the star power on offense should make Tampa Bay one of the strongest teams in the NFL.

Take the Bucs to win over 11.5 games in the 2022 NFL season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Next Game Pick

The Seattle Seahawks will enter Week 10 as one of the most surprising teams in the NFL.

Seattle (6-3) owns a 1.5-game advantage over the San Francisco 49ers for first place in the NFC West. Perhaps even more surprising, Geno Smith is among the league-leaders in yards, touchdowns, completion percentage, and QBR.

On the other hand, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are off to a disappointing 4-5 start. Since coming back from retirement, Tom Brady has been unable to rekindle the magic that he’s enjoyed in Tampa Bay.

While the Bucs’ defense has played well, Tampa Bay’s offense has struggled to move the ball consistently, especially on the ground. Tampa Bay is averaging a league-low 60.7 rushing yards per game and it ranks 25th in the league at just 18.0 points per game.

With this game being played in Germany, it’s hard to see the Bucs turning things around in this one.

Take Seattle to cover the spread in Munich on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Schedule and Results

The 2022 NFL season is right around the corner.

Thanks to a weak division, Tampa Bay is expected to have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL in 2022. The Saints, Panthers, and Falcons should give the Bucs at least a few chances to earn some easy victories.

Tampa Bay also has the benefit of playing some of their most difficult opponents at home this year, which should help the Bucs cruise towards the NFL Playoffs.

Scroll down below for a complete breakdown of the Bucs preseason and regular season schedule.

2022 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Preseason Schedule

While controversy surrounded Tom Brady’s 10-day absence from the Bucs training camp and preseason, Tampa Bay never skipped a beat.

The Bucs began their preseason slate against the Miami Dolphins. Many coaches have elected to sit their stars during the exhibition schedule, which often helps team cohesiveness especially for the new draft picks.

Backup quarterback Kyle Trask started against the Dolphins. He completed 25-of-33 passes for 258 yards and one touchdown.

2022 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Regular Season Schedule

Tampa Bay has the seventh easiest schedule during the 2022 NFL season. While the Bucs will see Green Bay, Kansas City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Cincinnati, four of the five games will be at home.

In addition, the NFC South is an easy division with Atlanta, New Orleans and Caronlia rebuilding their franchises. Brady and the Bucs should win the majority of NFC South games.

With the benefit of playing some of the NFL teams at home, the Bucs can easily tally up more than 12 wins this season.

Check out some of the key games on the Bucs schedule below.

Key Buccaneers Games to Watch in 2022

The Bucs will get a bye week in Week 11 before taking on the easier stretch of their schedule.

While the Bucs will still have a hard three week stretch from Week 14 to Week 16 as they play the 49ers and Cardinals on the road and take on the Bengals at home. Aside from those three games, the rest of the Bucs schedule is against non playoff teams.
