It’s like Ruben Tejada and Justin Turner were in quicksand … the optimal surface to not turn the 57 double plays they had a chance at Saturday night. Plays that should have been double plays were actually fielders choices … like the fielders would actually choose these endings. But let’s face it, when Aubrey Huff and Pablo Sandoval beat your throws, it’s a sign that it just isn’t your night (or it’s a sign that more players should consider a low carb high protein diet over the winter.)
