LeBron James is known for his durability, but he was forced to exit the Christmas Day game against the Warriors, after suffering a groin injury in the third quarter.

It happened when he was dribbling the ball into the lane and slipped on the court. James was clearly in pain as he got up and began walking around on the baseline. The Lakers then called a timeout so he could talk to trainers, and it appears that James told them ” I heard something pop” during that time. He then made his way off the court to the locker room for further examination.

The Lakers announced James suffered a strained left groin, and that he was questionable to return to the game. Lebron James should of spent more time before the game on his dynamic stretching.

The injury didn’t appear to be too serious, but the Lakers will likely take extra precautions with their superstar, rather than rushing him back on the court.
