Christian Pulisic continues to show why he’s the young player the US Men’s National Team hopes can eventually replace Clint Dempsey and become the face of soccer in America.

Pulisic opened the scoring in Friday night’s World Cup qualifier, in just the eighth minute of the game.

The young striker took a ball off the chest and then pushed it right through Panama’s defense, then dribbled around the goalkeeper and calmly tucked the ball into the net while falling backward.

Pulisic provides the spark USMNT have lacked for a long time.
