Rick Porcello Wins AL Cy Young Award and Max Scherzer Wins NL Cy Young Award

After a light out season with the Red Sox going 22-4 record and a 3.15 ERA in 33 regular season starts. Rick Porcello has won the AL Cy Young award. Porcello beat out the Tigers Jason Verlander by 5 votes

On the other side of the league, the Washington Nationals Max Scherzer was named the National League Cy Young Award winner. Scherzer won a little more handily beating out the Cubs John Lester by 90 votes. Scherzer went 20-7 with a 9.96 ERA in 34 regular season starts.
