Ravens Coming To Gillette Monday Night

swift

The stories dating back with New England and Baltimore are historic, but in this upcoming Monday night showdown, it is critical for the playoff standings and beyond.

Currently, New England ranks first now with Oakland’s loss against KC, but Baltimore is coming with a full steam ahead this Monday night in Foxboro. Coming off a crushing win over Miami last Sunday, the 32 point victory capped off with QB Joe Flacco’s arguably best performance of the year. Over 300 passing yards to go along with 4 touchdowns, Flacco nearly was flawless in the rout of Miami, another potential playoff pusher in the AFC. If Baltimore somehow wants to attack New England, it is pushing down the field and hurting the secondary on big play opportunities since Baltimore has WR’s Steve Smith Sr. and Breshad Perriman.

On New England’s end, a 26-10 victory over the LA Rams was primarily a game of domination on New England’s end, holding down the fort and eliminating any key opportunities for the Rams to capitalize. Wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell is emerging as the primary go to receiver in this dynamic offense in New England, and Brady is benefiting very much so from the rookie’s ascent into the starting role. We know that Baltimore’s defense is lights out on a consistent basis, but with as Baltimore, spreading the ball down the field, Baltimore is not the greatest team in pass coverage situations, so utilizing that mistake is key.
