It’s Now or Never for Boston

The Celtics put it all on the line tonight in game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals. With Boston down 3-1 in the series, the Cavaliers will be looking to end the season for the boys in green in Boston tonight.

Boston has fought through adversity plenty of times throughout the season. At the beginning of the season, they battled through a tough schedule and injuries to some key players, including All-Star Isaiah Thomas. With most of their games on the road, they still managed to stay within the top half of the Eastern Conference. In the Chicago series, when they lost both games at home they rallied and won 4 straight. This Celtics team is built on toughness, and they’ll need to show more of that toughness tonight.

The Cavaliers on the other hand, have cruised through the playoffs. Their only loss came to this Celtics team on a buzzer beater in game 3. While many critiqued their lack of effort and defense during the regular season, they have proved the haters wrong. Lebron has once again showed why he is one of the greatest players on the planet, even if he didn’t finish in the top 3 MVP voting. Not to mention the Cavaliers have two other All-Star players in the starting 5. Matching up with a Cavs team is hard enough, especially with the fact the Celtics are missing Isaiah Thomas.

Even though they have won a game without Isaiah, tonight will prove their hardest challenge yet. With their season on the line, which Celtics team will show up tonight?
