Jameis Winston was upset at center Ryan Jensen at one point in Sunday’s game against the Saints, and the quarterback let his teammate know about it.
The incident in question happened late in the second quarter, with the Bucs clinging to a 7-3 lead, looking to add to it. Winston completed an eight-yard pass on the play, but Jensen nullified it, as he was hit with an unnecessary roughness penalty for shoving a Saints player in the back.
It wasn’t a wise move on Jensen’s part, and led to a punt on the play that followed. The two made their way back to the sideline to discuss it, and that’s when Winston went off on his teammate.
Winston probably could’ve handled the situation and got his message across in a more subtle way. The team will have an interesting decision to make regarding his future in the offseason.
