The “Time Lord” nickname – created in the deep, dark bowels of Weird Celtics Twitter – relates to Williams’ trouble with time management during his first few days with the team.
The nickname became cemented once 1) Williams accepted it and b) the Celtics official Twitter feed started using it.

But now, Danny Ainge wants a do-over and I can’t argue with him. In addition to the fact the nickname carries a negative connotation, Williams deserves something that better describes his tremendous athleticism and shot blocking ability.
That something ain’t Lob Williams, either. Thoughts?
