Lamar Jackson wants to be the next Tom Brady, win titles with Ravens

NFL: AFC Wild Card-Los Angeles Chargers at Baltimore Ravens

It’s important for young athletes to dream big, and that’s exactly what Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is doing, apparently.

The rookie quarterback has already sniffed playoff experience, although he was completely shut down through the first three quarters of the game, but he did show a lot of heart in leading the team back in the contest during the final stanza.

Still, the jury is still out as to how far the Ravens can actually go in the postseason with Jackson running the run-heavy offense. And we also don’t know exactly how good Jackson can be, given that his mechanics/accuracy can use some serious work. Jackson shared some thoughts on that topic in speaking to Ray Lewis on Inside the NFL.

“Ain’t no ceiling,” Jackson said, as transcribed by Pro Football Talk. “I already said it when I got drafted: I want to bring a Super Bowl to Baltimore. So I’m going to try to bring as much as I can. I want to bring the Super Bowl here. I want to be the Brady. I want to be the Brady. Bring multiple, if I could.”

First things first: Jackson has to win a playoff game before chasing five championship rings, which is the number Tom Brady has won during his NFL career.
